The Only Key to Find Studying Interesting

Do you think your will-power can help you to get good grades in your school? Can you really stay focused and active on your subjects until you learn them just because you want to get good grades?

If you don’t find your books interesting then you know the correct answers of my questions above.

Because even though you want to get high grades so badly, yet you can’t manage to dedicate to your studying enough time so you couldn’t get the high grades too. If you don’t find your books interesting you will continue to get the same bad results even if you try to force yourself more to learn, even if you strengthen your willpower.

Maybe you will feel sad, but you could not do something about it.

Unless, you learn how to find your subjects interesting. Finding your subjects interesting looks like a little thing, but it happens only for big reasons, good reasons. And it is everything you need to be successful in exams and in all courses of your school. I am talking about...

Why do we find things interesting

Because only after you understand why do we find things interesting, you will understand how important motivation to study is to your success.

There are 2 main reasons we find things interesting. The first reason is..

Emotional reason: Most probably you have found very very interesting the books that have made a strong emotional impact on you.

You have found very interesting everything that moved you emotionally, not just books, but every discussion, every happening, every person who had a emotional impact on you.

Let’s take an example to get the whole picture: Ben is an architect. He study very hard. Now let’s see how Ben studies architecture for emotional reasons. He realized that being the best architect in his country feels great.

Being famous, successful, respected is something that  makes Ben feel wonderful, that’s why he finds interesting everything that can help him to get that feelings. Yeah, Ben thinks that being the best architect can greatly fulfill those goals, otherwise he wouldn’t find being the best architect so interesting.

He also understood that learning certain books can help him improve his practice, and being a better architect, that’s why he found learning certain books interesting too.

You see now how feeling great about being successful can make someone find interesting everything that can help him to be so, only for emotional reasons.

But, there is another reason why we find things interesting, which is:

Curiosity: After we read a book for a while, we may find something that makes us ask questions to ourselves. It may be something strange that you can not ghess what it means or what it is.

But the effect is that those informations trigger people’s curiousity. It makes people search and read just to find the answers about their questions. However the information won’t look so interesting after the person gets all the answers about his questions.

That’s why you should try to use your emotional needs to motivate yourself, instead of using just the curiosity. This way you make sure you will find your subjects interesting for a long time.

However let’s discuss how to make possible your learning activity have a strong emotional impact on you so you can find it very interesting.

Making books and information move you emotionally

Getting good grades can make you feel good, but there are a lot of other things that can make you feel as good as that, or even better. And you won’t be focused in studying for a long time just to satisfy that weak emotional need.

Instead you need another goal, another vision, something that can become the reason why you live. This is the power of the things our heart is burning for.

Does having a lot of money makes you dream and feel the proudest person in the world? Does being the most popular specialist makes you feel great and self-realized? Does it make you feel so good so it can be the biggest reason why you love your life more than ever??

If yes, then it is a good motive to work, to make planes, and to study books or everything. Don’t set weak motives you don’t feel strongly about, set this motive, and you will find interesting every activity that can help you reach your motives that can make you feel your desired way.

Ok, don’t fool yourself you feel strongly about something you don’t ha. If that thing can’t make you think for days and months, if it can’t cause you so powerful emotions that can push you to search and read for years wanting to become better, then you definitely don’t feel too much about that goal, so try to really find your goals, your real goals that can fulfill you emotionally.

If you are wondering how do smart people read 70+ books in a year by studying less hours than you, then you need to know how to study less and learn more. The great course of Scotthy Young will show you how to do that. Check it out here.
