How to overcome passivity


You will see many passive people now days, doing nothing more than waiting and procrastinating. They actually want to escape this kind of passivity that is making them depressed everyday.

Some people have written many books to help these people overcome their passivity, but for the sake of causing artistic effects many writers used a confusing language to tell their messages.

Their writings were fascinating and they have captured the minds of millions of readers around the world. But their simplicity of telling things has led many readers to remain under a state of irritation of their brains as a result of the stimulated curiosity.

Today I am representing an entire article on how to overcome passivity that will explain the entire essence of those writers in a clear language to appease to you any kind of curiosity that bothers you.


What causes the passivity 


Every motivational speaker is showing us that passivity is caused by some diseases of will. They refer the strong will as the proper way to achieve desires in life.

So this article will talk about the most important factors that affect the will, especially about diseases of will.

Many authors that have written something on this topic, are usually ambitious natures. Therefore they represent the strong will as a method to achieve success in life.

Success means achieving everything you desire until you feel happy and proud of yourself. Success requires work and not passivity. So one of the most important things for success is the treatment of any disease of will.

Because due to those diseases people fall into inactivity that causes them to fail in life.

Disease of will – Know and heal them


Discouragement: The lost of hope is the most common factor that leads people to inactivity after they try and fail in something. Discouragement in fact has consequences far greater than that, because it can cause depression and apathy which can radically destroy the happiness of people. Therefore you should learn appropriate ways of responding to the failures that are inevitable in the way of success.

Apathy: These kind of people are failing because they don’t try to achieve something. They are inactive only because they don’t want to be somebody, to have a better level of living. Apathy may be caused by depression too, but in many cases it is just rooted in the nature of people. So the best advice here is reading the biographies of great men. This reading will not only inspire readers to become like those great men, but it will make them enthusiastic about different kinds of activities, because the reader will connect unconsciously those activities to becoming great like him, and to achieving a great success like him.

Laziness: The passivity that comes from lethargic natures who hate efforts and tries has the same effect: Failure in life. And the best way to overcome laziness is repeating unimportant daily actions in a energic and fast way. If you do your daily actions fast, this will become a habit. This habit will strengthen the love to make efforts, and this love will make you feel in mood to do greater efforts in important activities of the future.

Indecision: Sometimes people become passive not because they hate efforts, but because they don’t know what they should do. Even when they know u number of ways that work to achieve something, they are not sure which one of them is the best way. So indecision causes failures even in intelligent and capable persons though they have any needed knowledge and skill to success.Here I have to stress again that the way you do something, becomes the way you do everything. Therefore you can strengthen the decisiveness by being firm and decisive in not so important daily situations. These exercises will help you being easily decisive in much more important situations of your life.

Self doubts: When reluctant natures say they want to succeed in something, they really mean: “I want to succeed in that without doing anything about it“. Doing nothing achieves nothing, at least if there doesn’t happen any miracle. Hence their reluctance and procrastination leads to inactivity, it normally leads to failures too. These repeated failures after a while will manage to convince the person that the cause of his failures is not procrastination, but his inability to do and achieve things. So another factor that leads to inactivity is added to procrastination. The person loses his self confidence. And the best way to fight these negative consequences is autosuggestion. This will create new believes in your subconscious mind. But you should also understand that you can not convince yourself just by words that you are able to do or achieve something, when the real facts say the opposite of this all the time. So beside using autosuggestion, you have to convince yourself through doing and achieving something that can be a convincing prove and proof to yourself.

Instability: In contrast to the above types, unstable persons are not passive. They can be very active and laborers, but they still remain in the losers category. This happens because they always change their directions and business that have started, to start a new one hoping that this time the project will result profitable. But reality and facts have shown that real successful people aren’t those who spend all their work in different directions, but they are those who focus for a long time on a single project until they make it work. They persist to the end. Many projects appear as useless, although they are the right way to achieve more profits. But if someone abandons his project in the middle to launch another one, then no matter how hard he works, he will not achieve anything this way. In fact persistence is what has carried everything extraordinary in this world. And if you want to achieve success, you should focus on a single direction. Find out if it is the right direction, if you have the required passion, and then don’t give up on it. It will be just a matter of time until you will realize all the profits you wished.
