What's more important than being successful? It's being on the right path of success, even if you didn't see any result yet.
However many people will always have doubts about your path. They might judge it mistakenly silly or useless.
I like initiatives so much, because they allow me to use my personal and learnt ideas in practice. I feel inspired by many interesting ideas and activities and many of such activities brought me the results I have wished.
But as I once started those activities from stratch I have faced the scepticism of all my friends and other close people. I have always proved them that they were wrong in their judgement, but it seems like this fact doesn't matter, they continue to not trust my ideas until I show them the results.
That's why I don't talk anymore about my new ideas and goals until I have some concrete results. It seems like the result is the only thing that can convince people absolutely.
Not everybody is enough knowledgeable to understand if a certain idea is right or wrong, if it's successful or an useless path, and a bit assertiveness is added to their lack of knowledge in order to repress the enthusiasm of someone.
